Welcome to the RCC Web Project!
This site was created to showcase the work of students enrolled in the Rockford Career College Web program as well as a way provide a line of communication between the instructor and the student with the inclusion the the RCC Web Forum.
The Winter Quarter of the Web Program is complete! You can view all of my students hard work in our Student Showcase for Web Design I.
We are now heading into Web Design I for the Summer 2010 quarter which focuses on the overall production processes with particular emphasis on design elements involving layout, navigation and interactivity using HTML. A text editor is used to create Web pages with CSS, lists, links, forms, graphics, tables and multimedia.
The objectives of this course include:
- Learn an overview of HTML and how it relates to the Internet.
- Learn how to program in HTML
- Program web pages that are XHTML compliant
- Learn introductory aspects to usability.
